About Town Sorted
Town Sorted answers one question in every town: which tradies, clinics, salons, cafes and firms hold a near-perfect rating across a real number of reviews, and which do so across the whole town.
A rating can move quickly, and a business just under 4.8 or 50 reviews may be just as good. Figures come from Google Business Profiles and are refreshed on the first of each month.
Town Sorted lists the businesses of each Australian town, and each sector of them, rated 4.8 or better from at least 50 Google reviews, ranked by how many reviews they have.
Town Sorted is run by the Town Sorted team and has been published since 13 October 2026. It lists 39,631 businesses in 2,055 lists, with figures as of October 2026.
Ratings, review counts and opening hours come from Google Business Profiles. The year a business started, and the jobs it does, come from its own website.
